Bean Space, a startup specializing in the import and distribution of decaffeinated coffee, has secured an investment of KRW 100 million from accelerators Star Asset and Y&Archer.
This investment was made through Star Asset’s F&B startup accelerating program, “K-Food Star,” which supports brand scale-up and fundraising. Bean Space participated in the program’s first cohort.
Bean Space has grown by focusing on the decaffeinated segment within the coffee distribution market. The company directly sources raw materials from origins such as Colombia and Papua New Guinea, and produces its products at its processing facility in Paju, South Korea. Its product lineup includes coffee beans, coffee sticks, and drip bags.
CEO Cho Minki stated, “We aim to go beyond being the No.1 player in the decaffeinated market and become a company that expands the market itself.”
